Great job Jason, you are quick on the trigger. I hope you enjoy your new Train Signal videos. Please email me you address so I can send it to you soon.

Another week, another vDestination.com contest. This weeks prize is a really amazing one! Train Signal was nice enough to donate a copy of their VMware vSphere Pro Series Training Vol. 2 training videos, and let me tell you, they are amazing. Your instructors for this material are none other than some of the top vExperts in the field: David Davis (CCIE #9369, CWNA, MCSE, CISSP), Eric Siebert (vExpert), Hal Rottenberg (vExpert, Microsoft MVP: Windows PowerShell, 2009-2010) and Sean Clark (vExpert, VMware Certified Professional, Oracle Certified Associate DBA). Their credentials speak for themselves! Last week I gave away Eric Siebert and Simon Seagrave’s Maximum vSphere simply by pulling a random name from the hat, this week it’s going to be a tad bit more difficult. This is a great prize and it’s worthy of a little more effort on the winner’s part (no disrespect to Eric/Simon your book is great!). With a little help from Kasia at Train Signal we came up with some trivia questions that might take a little digging on your part if you really want to win this incredible prize from Train Signal and vDestination. In order to enter and win, you must be the first person to complete the following:

Correctly answer all of these questions:
    1. What year was Train Signal founded?
    2. Who is the President and Founder of Train Signal?
    3. What was the first VMware course titled that Train Signal released? What year was it released? Who was the instructor(s)?

*Must follow @TrainSignal and @gregwstuart on twitter

You must use the contest entry form below (don’t comment on the post), make sure to include your first and last name, a valid email address so I can notify you if you win, and of course the correct answers the questions above. The first correct response and verified follower will walk away with this awesome collections of training videos from Train Signal. There is no “enter by” date for this contest, it will end when the first correct response comes in, and twitter follows are verified. Good luck! Ladies and gentlemen start your Google, I mean, your favorite search engine!

A big thanks to Train Signal for all the hard work they do to bring us the most up to date and relevant IT training out there. The instructors are great, and highly qualified and really take the time to fully discuss and explain the material to complete a total training experience. There are iPod video and MP3 audio files included along with a PDF of the instructors notes to aid in your training whether on the go or at your desktop/laptop. You can always get support from them, and as far as reaching the instructor, I can tell you from experience that they are always willing to lend an ear to whatever you need to discuss or any questions you need answered.

We can’t all win this contest unfortunately, so if you don’t win, head over to TrainSignal.com and find the video that you need, that will help you advance your career and buy it! Don’t procrastinate, these videos are invaluable training aids. I speak from experience, I’ve used VMware vSphere Training Vol. 1 & 2 as well as CompTIA Security+, which have both helped me prepare for and pass my certification exams (VCP certified April 2010, Security+ hopefully next month) The best part for me is the ability to have the training on my iPod as I’m driving to work, or wasting time at the DMV or on the airplane. Thanks Train Signal for such a great product and a very helpful site!
